Who we are?
Founded in March 14, 2018. Empowering Ethiopian Women’s Group is located in the DMV Metropolitan area dedicated to improving the lives of Ethiopian Women. EEWG’s aim is that when women are empowered gender equality is achieved, women can play a significant role in economic, social and environmental issues in their community.
Mission
EEWG is dedicated to empowering Ethiopian Women to strengthen their independent voices by highlighting and examining different issues pertinent to their status in society. Also, to increase our strength socially, emotionally and professionally. A platform to connect, encourage each other in building our confidence, support each other, learn and share experiences.
Vision
A community where every Ethiopian Woman is able to use her voice, and play a significant role in society.
