The Young Girls Empowerment Program (YGEP) offers guiding tools to prepare and empower young Ethiopian girls to make positive impact in their lives and communities. This program is designed for young girls, as part of EEWG’s commitment to developing effective young Ethiopian girls leaders. This program is designed to put young girls in control of educating and empowering themselves to take action on key issues that affect their lives. The program approaches to developing leadership skills and awareness of their strengths, power and rights. It prepares young girls to determine and direct the changes in their lives. EEWG will provide resources and workshops to support the process of this program. EEWG will focus on some key issues that will have a crucial impact on young girls. These issues are sexual and reproductive health, self esteem, confidence, body image and violence against women. Focusing on these issues, the program provides young girls with information and tools to gain insights into the issues to educate them and equip them for a brighter future.
If you have a passion to empower our young girls to become leaders we would like to hear from you!
